The Olive Branch - Colchester

My favourite place to eat! I usually have the plate that is amazing, but today I am on a very limited diet due to health problems. the personal was so courteous and went with me through the whole menu, matched 2 of their dishes so that I could eat it.was so delish together with the cozy, friendly atmosphere...love it!

Absolutely delicious and fresh dishes on Syrian basis. the personal was very friendly, informative and welcoming. worth a second visit.

I have kept myself from reviewing because kovid has made the life very hard for eating game, but when that life returns, I thought I would start again. olive is a small cafe style venue with maybe 10 covers inside. we had the plate. fresh and well presented. we had also made the house minze limonade, at £3,50 its not cheap, but it was so refreshing and I would buy again. 22£ for 2 of us and left. the man who served us was beautiful and explained eating with passion and care. can wait to visit again. well done

Large eating, cheap and the minty limonade was perfect for a hot summer day. will definitely visit again!

Came here on a recent visit to Wivenhoe. Food was amazing fresh, homemade, prepared on order and bursting with flavour. Coffee (Monmouth) was the best I have had for sometime. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning soon...
