We arrived early on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately. We were not familiar with the wine selection, but our hostess brought us several samples to try and we decided on a Rioja. We started with the Sanbouset appetizer, which was excellent. There were two lamb tangines on the menu, so I ordered one and my son ordered the other. My wife opted for the chicken kabob. What Lewis M doesn't like about Caspian Cafe Market:
This was the worst Mediterranean dinner I've ever had. I ordered a shrimp kabob (which they claimed was a special order, not a substitute) and they charged me $30 for shrimp on rice with onions. The chef needs to learn what a kabob actually is. This restaurant is a joke. I also ordered a Greek Farm salad, which was a disappointment with just romaine lettuce, a few olives, and a tablespoon of feta from a package. This... View all feedback.
We enjoyed eating in this family-run Mediterranean restaurant. they have to go to him, because it is not in the city. the chicken in walnut sauce was delicious as the lamb shell with artichokes.
A quick lunch visit for our fist time to the Caspian Cafe left us very satisfied with our meals and the quality of service. Having lived in the Middle East, I was pleasantly surprised to see a diverse menu of Mediterranean and Arabian cuisine. Looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu.
Even though we've lived a short distance from Caspian Cafe for years, we just recently discovered this gem' of a restaurant in a sea of fast-food choices. We're going for our 4th visit tonight with a friend, and looking forward to a delicious meal at an affordable price!
Very tasty food, large portions and friendly service. Was fairly animated for a Monday evening. Conveniently located near the high way but once inside we forgot it was close Tony eh highway
Ordered some appetizers to-go (baba gahnouj, sambousek and spanakopita) and overall food was very tasty. I know sambousek and spanakopita are fried but they were both quite greasy which was a little off-putting. Can't say much about service since it was a to-go order. Overall, the menu has a wide variety of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern items, some of which are hard to find so that was nice to see.
