"I asked the server for a recommendation. The two dishes were the General Tso chicken and the Honey Walnut Shrimp because those were the most popular. I chose the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Too sweet, too rubbery, and it ruined the dish. Not executed very well. This was $20. Appetizer was the Fried Cheese Wontons with a spicy chili sauce. The sauce had a nice kick to balance the sweetness of the wontons. Wontons are lightly batter with a nice crunch. I would order these again. As of now, I am giving this place 3 stars until I return and try something else."

"I am a local and enjoy the food that is served at all the local resturants. but the grapevine stands out as being one of the best between baton rouge and new orleans.. the food is always great and very fresh and well seasoned. the servers are a vetern crew and work the tables well. a great place to meet and enjoy all the paintings and live music on weekends and the sunday brunch is one to enjoy and relax."

"I had the bowl of gumbo which was huge came with a side of potatoe salad, with crackers for $11. My husb had the red beans rice with sausage yest for $13. He said his was fabulous even bought some of their sausage to bring home (they have a to go market attached to their restaurant . Fast service..large dining rooms :they seem to anticipate the plantation touring crowd. French tourists were there one of the cooks came out to explain to them in French, how to peel eat the crawfish that they had ordered..it was a great experience. The young lady that served us said that it was her grandmothers restaurant: The bathrooms were very clean too!"

"My family enjoyed the opening night! I was a little nervous because with the beginning of a new place, there are always quirks to work, but everything went as smooth as possible!! The staff was amazing, the building was nice, the children had an explosion!! We are very pleased to have here in the city of Chick-fil-A!!! We will definitely be regular!!!"
