"Food, service and atmosphere were great! Unexpected in a small isolated city like Cooktown. Super friendly service and extensive menu with most items able to be vegan. The cook makes her own sauces, so you need to give them 24 hours to do a special sauce without oysters or fish sauce. The flavors are amazing and the food was served super hot! We ordered extra vegetables that helps. They don't do tofu."

"If you're in town this cafe is a must! The gluten free raspberry and ricotta pancakes were SENSATIONAL possibly the best breakfast I've ever had, so deliciously light and fluffy and tasty! Excellent coffee, especially for a drinker of almond milk. Great atmosphere and view, loved their environmental approach with the cloth napkins."

"I am a regular visitor to the bowls club and usually love the meals, but this time asked for a rare porterhouse with chips and salad. The chips came out as a spoonful of soggy French fries, a fork full of salad and the steak so tuff I broke my tooth"
