This was our first visit to Poivre Rouge and it was terrific, starting with the staff who were all friendly, made recommendations and enjoyed a bit of fun. The menu was varied and interesting and the food was excellent, duck, salmon, pollock and mussels were...all good and tasty, the service all came together so there was no waiting for our dishes. What Finley Graham doesn't like about Poivre Rouge:
We chose this restaurant due to proximity to overnight hotel. Simple menu of steaks and burgers promised to be just what we needed after 10 hours on the road. Unfortunately despite straight forward order of two steaks one with chips one with jacket potato we had to wait 1 hour 15 mins for this to be brought to table.
