"Above the harbour of newquay, this is a small jewel. cornish cream tee for 2 was excellent value with two huge homemade warm scenes, a pot jam and generous pot of dipped cream and garnished with fresh strawberry slices. with a large porcelain teapot of tea....£7.50 .a quality bargain."

"Called in on a day out in Truro. We were searching for somewhere to eat, and quite by luck we came across Chorleys. We looked at the menu outside, and were drawn in by that and the amazing aromas wafting out. Three of us each had a different burger, and shared some peri peri fries, which had a lovely kick to them, and the crispiest onion rings we’ve ever tasted. The food was of the highest quality, and the gentleman serving us was extremely polite and good at his job. We explained that one of our group had a dairy allergy, which was no problem and the cheese on that persons burger was exchanged for a dairy free alternative. We are visiting Cornwall again in a few weeks, and will travel down to Truro from Bude to eat there again. "The first time here. I ordered the bbq chicken and cheese toastia and I have to say it is up there with one of the best lunch I ever had! the part was fantastic, the taste was incredible! the staff was very friendly! the clean, fresh vibe. as easy as a coffee was just great! really could no longer speak of my experience her today and I have passed it on to many friends and colleagues. I will definitely be eating the emily again for future lunch. thanks, great work!"

"This is a fantastic gem located in the outskirts of Truro centre. We had the most amazing food, starting with goats cheese which was truly delicious, followed by Hake, WOW WOW WOW! and then sticky toffee pudding which was so light and tasty I seriously wanted another portion but the waist was definitely telling me I was full BUT found a tiny bit of room for coffee and Nigel's homemade chocolates! What an absolute treat!! The atmosphere was relaxed, cosy and with such friendly service, I felt I was a VIP. Thank you to Debbie for her guidance with wines..very knowledgeable young lady and also to her team for such a memorable evening! We will be back!!"
