Great service and atmosphere, famous for its chicken in the basket, there is a varied menu as well and of course cornish mead. Well worth a visit. Check if you need to book it gets very busy. View all feedback.

We came for dinner on a Friday evening. Most of the party had come here many times and so knew what to expect and what the food was like. The food is ok if you like stuff deep fried but it was all a bit greasy for me. The place is very dark but quite atmospheric I guess View all feedback.
Huge portions, good food and lots and lots of mead. Can 't believe I didn 't know that this was a thing in Cornwall, but here we are! Loved the place
Feels a bit of a tired concept. Think the menu needs to be updated.
