Haven’t been in for a while but visited today and was very happy with both the menu and the price. Very reasonable pub food and plenty of choice.Had the mixed grill and the wife had the mixed chicken plate, no problems at all, in fact quite a bit of food for the price.Also must mention the very friendly and efficient barman.Definitely be back.... What LaNyonsaise doesn't like about The Queens Head:
Booked a table in advance to accommodate a wheelchair and this was provided. Food order was one fish and chips, one pie and chips and a baked potato with chicken in mayonnaise. Of these the pie was by far the better option, nothing to complain about. The fish had been overcooked, very dark brown hard batter and dried up fish. Decent ales. Spotless clean. Nice environment. Prices good. Shows the premier League.
Great place to grab a drink with a variety of regular customers. Live music is a common occurrence, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Comfortable, big improvement on previous pub , t.v.s, too big we all don't like football)and the noise from the pool room into the lounge a bit off putting
