This is a standard chippie-nothing more, nothing less. Everything is quite acceptable, fish is cooked to order and service is efficient. Fish quality is good, chips are soggy and mushy peas have a strangely metallic taste. It’s a perfectly adequate neighbourhood place-won’t set the world on fire, but ok for the occasional fish and chip supper. I have certainly had much better fish and chips elsewhere. read more.
