Lovely stop for lunch. By the canal, picnic tables and chairs. Friendly staff. Had really nice bloomer bread toasties with potato slices. Fresh out of the oven bread and butter pudding with clotted cream. Wow yum. Definitely recommend and a nice little walk around the marina. View all feedback.
What Jane Y doesn't like about Gongoozlers:
Visiting the Gongoozlers Rest to sit down with old friend for a hot cup of coffee and a bacon sandwich, after travelling more than 20 miles only to find, no indoor seating available, only wet, damp seating outside! This is not what I envisaged meeting up with an old friend after a long time. There was no indication on their website that indoor seating was not available. Highly disappointed. View all feedback.

In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. A counter with the ability to sit down invites you to linger.
