"This was just wonderful in every way. A meal which completely outdid recent visit to Tom Kitchen restaurant in Edinburgh in every way. Beautiful food. Wonderful care very personal. Unobtrusive. Honest honest. And food sourced and grown locally. I was encouraged to run my finger round the plate to pick up the last drops of sauce. 'Feel at home '. So very relaxing. The four of us dining just loved it. Not cheap but excellent quality and value for money. Worth every penny and pound! Shall return!"

"Prompt, cheerful service and generous portions. The menu has a rather limited choice of standard pub fare, but the food was tasty and well-presented. Note that food service ends relatively early, at 7.30pm. The drinks selection is a bit unimaginative, but they do at least have a good choice of low-alcohol beers. On the plus side, there is a lovely garden with some excellent childrens' play equipment, so it's certainly family-friendly."
