order cod and chips x2 for £18.50 cod was beautiful and fresh. the muddy heaps and curry sauce also tasted great. the pockets cost 20p and the money is donated to a next love, proves to be hanging near the counter. how was a little while the shops on the pier had closed at this time View all feedback.

Used to do pretty good gush and chips, not quiet whitby standard but they used to be OK. Today's fish and chips are the worst I have ever had. Over cooked fish, inedible chops and a bun that should have been consigned to the bin a couple of days ago as it was hard and stale.they were never the cheapest but I didn't mind paying for decent quality.
