Staying in Engelberg in hotel Edelweiss and as kitchen was closed the owner took us to this quaint little place off the beaten track with the promise of the best rosti in Engelberg. It is up a dirt track and has no mains electricity ...all cooking done on wood stove. Simple menu but the rosti was indeed excellent as were the meringues and plum tart. Good value for Switzerland with 3 courses for 38 Swiss francs. View all feedback.

Das Restaurant liegt auf dem Weg zum Surenenpass (obgleich noch auf der Talseite von Engelberg, liegt das Restaurant bereits im Kanton Uri). Grosse Terrasse, freundlicher Service, jedoch sind CHF 7.00 für drei Stücklein Linzertorte (je ca. 6x6 cm gross) eindeutig zu teuer. So haben wir für 2 x Linzertorte und 2 x Kaffee CHF 22.00 bezahlt!
