"Nice place to visit. The owner is super nice, but getting food was challenging. We fish, and wanted to get some famous brisket sandwiches to take on the boat. Went there three times. 1045, unable to get sandwiches until 11 am. Disappointed, so sat down and ordered breakfast, took longer than expected. Went the next day. This time around lunch, we could still smell the brisket. We went up to the lady to order 4 brisket sandwiches, and she said they were closed.We loved this place and went back every day just for the atmosphere. It's a fisherman's paradise inside, lots of equipment. We love to support local."

"Everglades City’s and probably one of Florida’s most unique steps back in history. Founded in 1864, the interior hasn’t seemed to change since then. The waitress was a local from Chokoloskee, Fl., who was excellent and informative. The food was excellent and served piping hot. We both had Grouper, and it was some of the best we’ve ever had. The desert was either strawberry short cake or key lime pi’s. We opted for the strawberry short cake and it was great. Definitely a must see and visit. Truly Florida’s hidden secret."

"This is a neat and funky place, a combination fish market and seafood restaurant. You eat outside on their covered dock, on picnic tables right by the water. You get to watch boats come and go as you chow down on crab, shrimp, scallops, grouper, etc. Most meals are under $10 and well worth it. Try the shrimp basket — they give you a lot! You order and pick up your food at the window, so tipping is strictly optional."

"Good Eats here on a New Year’s Day. Stopped by on bikes for lunch. Our waiter recommended the shrimp tacos over the shrimp po boy. Good recommendation! I had them blackened with lettuce and tomato but without cheese. A tasty spicy sauce rounded out the two tacos. Served with crisp fries too. Not a large lunch but tasty!"

"A lovely location right on Collier overlooking Lake Placid with comfortable outdoor seating and parking available. We had grouper and redfish tacos and they were delicious. They recently opened and getting seated and waited on was a little slow, but it all worked out. Nice menu with many options and prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a try"

"It was a charming little place that had average food that was overpriced. The wait staff was friendly for the most part. There were three servers, so it was hard to know which one was ours. One server asked if we needed anything else and my husband wanted a refill to which she directed us to the self-serve drink area rather than getting him one. Hard to know whether to tip when all the staff does is bring out the food."
