What User likes about The Anchor Inn:
Thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Menu. Friendly welcome and good service. We had the Christmas Menu which is 3 courses for £21.95 had to be ordered in advance but that was not a problem. Good choice and food cooked well and also good quality. Especially enjoyed the brandy sauce on the Christmas pudding. Will definitely eat here again. View all feedback.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but it was unusually bad! The chips were completely soaked in oil and inedible gammon steak was tiny. Prawn cocktail came out without any sauce. Roast dinner was just frozen potatoes, boiled tasteless veg and what tasted like microwaved beef. All the food took a long while to come out. We did worry when we were the only table in for a Sunday roast! View all feedback.
