"We stopped by as we were headed to Grand Saline, Tx. I had a Hunger Buster and it was made to order, so good, Also nice and hot. The Fries were delicious. I just had a Coke and it was nice and cold with crushed ice. If I'm ever in this town again, I will come back. Sorry no pictures because I was so hunger and just tore it up..."

"I love this place and also my 15 year old daughter. Your coffee drinks are delicious and everything we have ordered is fantastic. Besides, every employee is always so nice. Especially the short lady (I don't know her name) but they absolutely love. She always makes me smile before I had my coffee."

"Wonderful selection, great atmosphere, helpful and polite staff and very fresh burgers. Had also a shake and it was very smooth and delicious. Very recommended. Please do not take other people so good reviews with a grain salt. A new restaurant with new staff will go through growing pain. Give them a shot, it won't disappoint. Great job guys!"

"Finally made it to Sammy Lou's! The ribs brisket were absolutely delicious the CFS was pretty good. We decided to get a pound of brisket to go and it was so melt in your mouth. Made it back about a week later and had the meatloaf 3 meat trio (ribs both sausages). The meatloaf was good, a bit warm on one end and got hotter at the other. If I try it again, will take it with the red gravy to see if there's any real difference. Both sausages were very tasty and the ribs were awesome, again. We skipped dessert but did take a pound of brisket home."

"I lived in Germany. I have lived in the USA since 1973 (when I was 13 years old). This place has the best food that I 've had anywhere since moving here back then.Whatever hassles you have to get through to get here, become distant memories after the first bite goes in your mouth.On my first visit, I was shocked when the owner told me I was about to have the BEST jägerschnitzel I 'd ever had. I was like... Okay! This guy doesn 't know where I 've been all over the USA. That 's a cocky thing to say. Well... It was! And, his story about how he got here with this restaurant is fantastic too! You 'll understand the decor completely, if you can get him when he 's got enough time to tell you about it.And, he most definitely knows how to pour a beer properly. The best pour I 've seen from a commercial restaurant.Pay attention to the little things. They matter!Makes his own pineapple schnapps. Best of the best!"

"Food was great however the bartender was atrocious. We sat down and he attended to three girls who already had drinks. We waited for 20 minutes and he never even looked our way. Eventually the people next to us asked for another round, while they still had drinks, and he finally addressed us to say “they were here first.” Absolutely disgusting treatment. He really missed out on a great tip as we always take care of those who service us."
