"The restaurant sits close to the Gairloch Museum which we had just visited. Family have been to the restaurant before and it came highly recommended, I can see why.It sits on the main road with great views across the water. There's a spacious car park and seating outside. Inside there's plenty of tables in a traditional setting. I imagine post-pandemic it's been difficult to get back into the swing of things, if that was the case it didn't show.The service was perfect. You're not going to get fast food turnaround on orders, but then you aren't going to get fast food quality food. The fact that things are cooked to order is explained and I can't say I felt we had to wait long at all.The menu offered a good selection and catered well for vegetarians. We were all very happy with our choices. I had the falafel burger, one of the best I have tried.So, location, service and food perfect!"

"I've been using the Badachro Inn of late for pizzas on a Friday night. Always excellent friendly service, good beer and cracking pizza. But twice this month we've been for Sunday lunch. Absolutely superb. One of the best Sunday lunches I've had in a long time. Great flavours, beautifully cooked. One of those meals you eat in smaller and smaller bites as you want it to last longer. Thoroughly recommended."

"Staying in Gairloch as part of our car club weekend away, we were treated to an excellent breakfast on both mornings. A good choice with excellent friendly service in a lovely setting. I can heartily recommend the Myrtle Bank and will definitely call in again."
