"I have visited Rosie 's on two other occasions when I have visited Gander and both times were very positive experiences. However, this past visit was so negative I won 't be returning. I had hoped to originally order the cod but they were sold out so I ordered the salmon. I eat fish several times a week so I know how it is suppose to smell and taste. When the salmon arrived it looked fine but it didn 't smell great, so I did try a small bite and it was awful. It had gone bad and I would have been sick if I ate it. When the waitress returned with the remaining food for the table, I told her what the issue was and was sorry but I had to send it back. I then ordered the soup and side salad. Several minutes later she came back with my plate of salmon and informed me that it is their policy to not take anything back and I would still have to pay for it. I explained that I was sending it back because it was bad and not that I changed my mind or didn 't like it. She apologized and said there was nothing that she could do. So, I waited for my second order but while waiting one of friends (who happens to own a pub/restaurant), tried a small piece of the salmon and agreed that it was bad and couldn 't be eaten. Once we were finished the waitress came by and asked if I wanted a take away for the salmon and I informed her to throw it away because it was bad and would make someone sick if they ate it. When I went to the cash I again told the cashier the issue I had and she said the same thing there is nothing I can do . I make a point to always try to support local businesses, especially small mom-and-pop places, but if you are looking for good food and somewhere that appreciates your business, Rosie 's is not that place."

"We reserved a table for 18 o'clock (2 people) ordered drinks and dinner at 6:30 o'clock and stayed standing. I ordered the steak, baked kartoffel and a caesar salad for appetizer. I was especially wondering if the mushrooms were fresh and was sure they were waiting after a 2 1/2 hour, without even asking to refresh the drink, the meal arrived. a minute steak boiled gray, canned mushrooms not even warmed, and the caesar salat was imitation bacon bits, power dressing, and combed crows...horrible,,,, I was hungry, took a few mundfuls and left it. It was never good, and I never discussed it again. i save a picture"
