My grandson likes school. 5th grade The attitude towards children is good, the whole day under supervision, interesting classes, walks, and the food is good.

"Great hotel, great location and fantastic food. It is on a main road / rail, but there is little traffic after 6pm. We slept very well. Great location to explore the Walensee and Flumserberg region. The surprise was the quality of our dinner. It was excellent and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. I can highly recommend."

"Great location, clean room, very very nice staff and very tasty homemade food. The private sauna by appointment was a highlight. Paid covered garage for hotel guests right next to it. The only disadvantage: very weak internet connection"

"All in all I had an enjoyable dinner at Seehof.The restaurant is located at Walenstadt Hafen (harbour) which, by the way, is at least a 20-minute-walk away from the railway station.The staff was welcoming and friendly. However the service got rather slow towards the end of the dinner - it took quite a long time for the staff to take my dessert order!Food was good with adequate portions.As starter I chose the lamb's lettuce "Seehof": as advertised on the menu, the salad included generous portions of bacon and croutons, but I definitely missed the nuts (I counted three tiny pieces!!). As main course I opted for the tasty "Walenseepoesie" - a fish duo comprising of boiled trout fillet (served with a delicious herb sauce) and fried perch fillets (light and not greasy at all). As dessert the crème caramel did its job properly.Prices are at the usual Swiss (high) level."

"The food is similar to the other restaurants on the resort of Flumserberg. Nevertheless the food is very good. Hearty portions and good selection. Canteen style eaterie. Prices slightly higher due to the fact you are on the top of the mountain."
