Fantastic meal the flavours and textures and components were a delight.. From the fish to meat to vegetarian dishes and desserts of course we all agreed it was the most amazing mean any of us have experienced.

I 'm not sure why my first review did not upload so here goes again because Exteberria definitely needs reviewing. Sorry if it appears twice! We went to this fantastic new (pop up though I understand it will be open a number of months if not longer restaurant last Friday and it was soooooo good that we have already booked again for this Friday, and again later in the month. Once news gets around I 'm sure availability will become scarce. This is now one of our favourite restaurants in Auckland (alongside Apero and Siddhart , serving very interesting (and quite unique and innovative for Akl. food. Six of our dishes were a '10 ' with the others a 9+ and we particularly loved the skate, goat, salad, desserts, and patatas bravas with bone marrow powder (it 's like foodie cocaine see our pics . Alas, or maybe it 's a good thing I understand that the menu will be changing weekly. However please please don 't get rid of that marrow powder!!! The food is very reasonably priced (mains at mid $20s and the service unpretentious, friendly and efficient. It is high end (and innovative dining in a casual space (with interesting and quirky tweaks to keep it in character . I hope that you enjoy it as much as we did we sure are looking forwards to our next visit.
