"This historical location is called the birthplace of Maine, so it was a must-visit for me as I explore my family 's roots in Colonial America. It was an excellent decision. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming, our waitress was friendly and warm, and the FOOD. My husband and I ordered the king prime rib, and you cannot tell me that those portions we received were only 14oz. They were 18oz, easy. And they were tender, flavorful, and swimming in delicious au jus. Because I am allergic to potatoes, I ordered the sweet potato fries, which I have learned to... reluctantly enjoy. The sweet potato fries at Jameson Tavern were simply PERFECT. No reluctance in my enjoyment. The best fries I 've had in a long time, even without the sweet potato qualifier. I cannot be effusive enough about these fries! Come for the history, stay for the prime rib and fries. And come back for more fries."

"The guys who work here are casual but efficient. They make you feel like you are part of the neighborhood. The meats and veggies are fresh. Best paninis by far! Their soups are delicious!! I love the rundown soup, lil' caribbean flavor and chicken tortilla soup from scratch!! Also, treat yourself to malted milkshakes, like no place else!! Lots of beer to choose if you eat in. YUMMM!!!"

"My wife has never experienced Poutine Pommes?.we came here to share and had a great experience! We added the duck and yes, it came a little expensive in her opinion? It was around the ball park 22. In my eyes, it was very reasonable for an interchangeable court in this part of the city. I ended by stating that I would like to come back!"
