Food is amazing and usally the service is too but your meal gets kinda ruined when you can hear the cook making rude comments about you to your waitress

"I love this place! It 's very retro looking straight out of the 1950s. But the main attraction is (of course) the frozen custard. It 's made right there, and in addition to the basic chocolate vanilla options, every day of the month has its own featured flavor. We were there most recently for espresso coffee flavor, which was divine. There are a lot of concoctions to be made with the frozen custard: plain cones, sundaes, milkshakes, etc., so you don 't ever have to have the same thing twice if you don 't want to! My husband I live about 10 miles away, but stop there for dessert any time we 're in this area. Highly recommended!"

"This is the full diner experience. Duct tape on every seat? Check. Waitress who knows every customer and yells at them (and the customers dish it out, too! ? Check. Typical diner food elevated by the atmosphere? Check. Inexpensive? Check. What did I order? Who cares. Establishments like this are getting hard to find. If I lived in the area, I'd bring my daughters every week. Fred's is a slice of Americana that reminds you of those days when everyone put in a hard day's work for honest pay. Tip your server well; she's earned it!"

"In town for work and place is walking distance so stopped in got a Sammie burger w/cheese. First bite all I could hear was Samuel L Jackson in my head…..if you don’t get reference, it’s a TASTY burger! Will definitely be back for price too. I only got the burger for $6 but combo is available for just couple dollars more."
