I arrived at the McDonalds drive thru about 5:30PM , Thursday , Dec. 30th. 2021 and ordered a sis pack of nuggets with dipping sauce , medium fries with ketchup...

i asked for a big mac and they gave me the fish one like how do you get that mixed up and when i ask for the fish one they were so rude

"I didn't expect it to feel like such a bar but whatever. Service was good. Server hit all the check marks, friendly, checked to see the food was good/correct, and refilled drinks without being asked. Only disappointment was the the price did not match the portion. Didn't quite feel like we got our moneys worth. Maybe that comes with a smaller town, dunno."

"We stopped at Jonny’s for lunch. While it was busy, the wait was not exceptionally long. You order outside on the porch. My husband and I each ordered the Haddock Burger and split a large order of hand-cut French fries. The word “burger” is a misnomer as it is really two nice-sized pieces of lightly battered haddock filet on a nice bakery bun, which came with lettuce, tomato, and home-made tartar sauce. The servings were large and very tasty. Excellent flavour of the fish, light and crispy batter, not a minced fish patty. The order of fries was more than enough for the two of us. There are benches and a table outside for eating, but also an air-conditioned dining room as well. The decor is retro signs and posters. There is a separate window for ice cream orders as well with a nice selection of flavours. Do be aware that the menu sign reflects the old prices, but they have a disclaimer at the bottom saying that they might be wrong, due to rising costs."

"Stopped here for an early supper and were so glad we did. I had the small pan fried haddock with rice and veggies and it was just enough and so delish. My husband had the club and fries. He said it was really good too. My 2 girls each had the small poutine which they both devoured. The menu had lot of choices from clams and chips to hot hamburger sandwiches. The restaurant was clean and the staff really friendly. Highly recommend."

"Dempsey's corner orchards is without a doubt one of the best places to visit if you like the idea of picking your own produce. The price to enter is super reasonable ($5) and the people there are super friendly. The orchard itself is quite a size and so they have wheeled carts to take around. The ground is not always even so if you also want to put small children in the wagon be sure to have an old blanket for padding as the carts are metal. There are activities for the kids too.The variety of apples is impressive and I don't think the 5 dollars actually covers what we ate but the price at checkout for the apples we got, essentially all we could lift was under 20.00 including a lot of honeycrisp apples.This is one of those places you will remember fondly for a very long time. It is a bit of a drive from halifax but so worth it."

"I dropped in on a very cold Feb. Sunday and was impressed in the first instance. I was greeted by a wonderful Ambassador/ Barkeep in Nora.The environment is welcoming, warm and friendly. I ordered a sampler and Nora delivered, based on my preferences. The beer was excellent with a special mention for The Kaber.I did not get to sample the food as I was there to sample the Craft. The menu is pretty diverse and there is something for all tastes.I will sample the food on my return.The gift shop is pretty cool as well.Well worth a destination stop or just passing through.I came, I experienced and got the BB cap!Parking: Plenty!"
