We wanted to stay for the night, but because of bad weather we went a day earlier and wanted to have just a lunch there. I have to admit honestly that we don't like welcome. We were told that we should go as a storm appeared. That's okay to say and we're happy that they made us aware of it, but the way it was said just felt weird. "As I was the first person to write a TA review of this wonderful bar five years ago, I feel compelled, five years later, to pen an update. I'm happy to say it's even better than I remembered and, since the first time, they now serve panini (not that it could be described as a food bar, thank God). No, it's a proper bar with a good outside space at the back where the bar staff are wonderful and the owner, Alex, is often around to engage with drinkers. We were there during the street festival - every Wednesday in July/August - and despite the rain, Avocado was rocking with a live band, a big crowd and a fantastic atmosphere. It's difficult with bars to put your finger on why exactly they're better than others in the area, but whatever their secret is, they have it. Also there's a good balance between local regulars and visitors - and everyone is given a warm welcome."

Leider war die Enttäuschung gross, denn das Essen war mittelmässig und der Preis viel zu hoch. Das ist reine Geldmacherei!Positiv hervorzuheben war die Bedienung, die sich wirklich um und bemühte.Wer lediglich einen Apero auf der tollen Terrasse einnehmen will, ist hier richtig - aber für ein Abendessen stimmt das Preis Leistung Verhältnis nicht!"
