"Fantastic food and service at our visit last week. very attentive and (medium) rare that a cook comes to check his meals are ok for the customers, great note .we went for the black pudding stack and mushroom / goat cheese to start with steak and lamb for net. great portions and is a must for anyone visiting or staying close!"

"Food was delicious, portioned well and came out quick Tender meat and full of flavour. Recommend the tandoori mixed grill (lamb was so tender) and the chicken rezza (requested spicy) was out of this world. Rivals any curry house we’ve tried in Mcr. Family friendly, the gentleman serving us took the kids to meet ‘the chef’ and they came out with a lolly. Great experience, well recommended."

"I had only a nice meal in the pub to celebrate my parents who taught 50 years ago. the staff was friendly and friendly. the pub was really nice and warm. we had net and pudding and eating was delicious, everyone in our group of 9 enjoyed their food, no complaining at all. would be highly recommended."

"We had a great meal here last night. The lamb just fell off the fork it was amazing. Michelle and Rui made it feel more like dinner at a friend's house than a restaurant. Really accomodating with Matthew who enjoyed the olives almost as much as throwing the rice in the floor! Shame we couldn't stay long enough for puddings they looked great. Really recommend it. "Using reviews only we chose Plas Yn Dre for Sunday lunch today; having telephoned a couple of hours in advance to check if dogs were welcome we booked a table. We had the beef and lamb roast dinners, magnificent portions, plenty of fresh al dente vegetables and extra gravy. The best Sunday lunch we have eaten in a very long time. Excellent value for money.
