They apparently keep the name for nostalgic reasons. So I had a lobster roll instead. On a FRESH BAKED roll. Fresh baked bread is heavenly and when you toss some lobster on it, well I guess that's 7th heaven. The slaw was unusual, had some kick to it. View all feedback.

The lobster rolls here are super delicious and are really cheap, and they come with a ton of lobster.

"I'm local from the area and I must say White Sales has the best service and BEST food you can find down the Peggy's Cove road or anywhere around St Margaret's bay. The staff is friendly, and the owners always ask how your food is.They genuinely care if you're satisfied and go above and beyond to make sure you are. I must say in my personal opinion all of the baked goods are delicious! I think the red velvet cupcakes and skor bars are my favourite. My boyfriend got a turkey club and it was made with real Turkey, fresh veggies on white bread, he says its the best club he's ever had! The poutines also ordered were home fries, real gravy and real cheese curds, something not offered at other restaurants/ take outs around here. Overall the food quality is awesome! The people are awesome! Always worth stopping in!"

"I have given this place a good go. We've gone about times and were poor experiences. Slow service, food takes forever even with a quiet restaurant, charged for things like balsamic vinegar on my bruschetta etc. The last time we went in it was pretty quiet, but yet we watched other tables that came in after us, including a table of get served before us. We waited hours. We asked the server at least twice and his answer was the kitchen is slow tonight or yours has to be next, I've served all my other tables I've worked in a restaurant, and I know if you have a table that hasn't been served, you check with the kitchen and make sure it's pushed out before any new tables get food. They like to blame the kitchen, but fail to remember the kitchen and the restaurant is the same place."
