Previously we'd always gone to the New Golden Leaf for Chinese takeaway, but they decided to shut during the great 2020 pandemic and we had to find somewhere else. We're glad that happened, because we tried Lotus House and the food is delicious. Even now the other takeaways have re-opened we'll still drive that bit further for Lotus House. The previous owners suddenly sold up and left. It’s not the same. Service is a lot less personal and the discounts and free prawn crackers have all gone. Prices have increased and the food, supplier or way it is cooked is different. My favourite dish is no longer offered so menu has changed too.
