"We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious, lovely sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes. The cakes were proper sliced cakes and not the silly little taster cakes you can sometimes get. A lovely warm welcome from all the staff and we were given a box to take home what we couldn't eat. The best high tea we have ever had. We will definitely be going back again."

"Staff were attentive, dined on a monday so quiet but food came out quickly. Bread and butter starter which is enough for 2. Fish and chips was great, great portion size and very well cooked. Would recommend."

"We only stopped by for coffee, which was great nice big cups too but the menu looks great. Very friendly, family run independent Guyanese restaurant. Breakfast and lunch every day except Monday and open for dinner at the weekend."

"So I want to move to Lewes to be near this place. I love the vibe, the coffee, the food but mostly the food. So glad I picked this at random for a meeting everytime I am in Lewes I make sure I go. Also bought a great photo of the old Brighton pier here. Just get there by camel, by handglider by 3 legged rocking horse it is worth it."

"Wow amazing. armed and was supervised by rachael. she explained everything and helped with many asking about intolerances [not me]. the owner/Koch colin even offered at 24 hours, he can change recipes to accommodate certain intolerances. fantastic. ordered half of nachos with chili, beautiful and huge I did my best. the chicken wings were also ordered and were divine. then the main course. crab and cod burger and a half rippchen. again beautiful. the staff cannot be very friendly, attentive and helpful mistakes. excellent food and a good price. atmosphere and music great. the only part of this restaurant is that it is not on the Wirral.! lucky hailsham. good luck for all of you. I'm back. x"
