"Arrived to pick up our order on Friday and they did not have it ready. The man was very rude and claimed we never even placed the order. After a couple of minutes he actually found our order but instead of putting it down for Friday they put it down for Tuesday. Prior to that we had to even prove on our phone that we actually did call Highway bakery because he just would not believe us. So they wrote down the wrong date but refused to admit that they did. He said he would support his employee rather than the customer and said that we were not telling the truth. I am totally done with Highway bakery. We left there and went down to Pearson's who were wonderful and gave us just what we want it"

"After the Memorial Day Service at the American Legion in Chicago Ridge IL, we decided to take a ride to Whiting Ind. Nothing was going on there, so we drove around for a while and ended up in Highland. Hungry and wanting good food, we went to Miner Dunn. this was my very first time there I am 62). I ordered the onion burger with the home made onion rings and my partner ordered the cheeseburger with the fries. We both had large vanilla milkshakes. The shakes, and everything we ate was sooooo good. I love grill onions on my burgers. The braised onions on my burger at Miner Dunn were minced and there were too may for my liking because I couldn 't taste anything but the onions. But, after knocking most of the onions off, I really enjoyed the burger then. The onion rings and fries were soooooo good. Our Server, Kim was so nice, so attentive and she made my first time there comfortable. Thanks again Kim. We will be back there for the rueben, highly talked about by Kim."

"I never give reviews I usually just take the L and move on but this time I felt like I had to make it known. I?m very verrrry disappointed in my meal tonight. I ordered fettuccine chicken Alfredo there was absolutely no flavor what so ever!! It was sobland where?s the spices?! Not even a drop of salt? I?m so bummed right now. However, I did experience nice customer service.The woman on the phone was cool."
