"Stopped here for a full Scottish breakfast whilst walking Scotland’s End to End. It was the best breakfast I ate on the entire trip and I was hugely impressed. Everything was perfect, from the warmth of the welcome and the can do attitude, to the quality of ingredients used and the view across Wick harbour. Absolutely first class and a real credit to the genuine and friendly owners."

"Food and staff outfits put you in France, the food was excellent and staff very friendly. Was nice to have a chat with the chef, the heavy rain on the roof did add to the atmosphere."

"Beautiful warm room on a very cold wet weekend. Food excellent as always. Rooms: Our room had two chairs to sit on so no one had to sit on the bed to watch the TV. The hairdryer socket is next to a mirror and seat, so blow drying was made easier. Food is always a treat and breakfasts amazing using as many local products in both. Rooms: 5 Service: 5"
