"Amazing! Loved the experience and would highly recommend. The waiter was a little awkward however he was very knowledgeable. We felt like there was 1 too many courses on the set menu and we would have liked a palette cleanser throughout the courses. Overall, really fantastic meal"

"We always make a point of trying to get booked in for a meal when visiting in Skye. Such a lovely atmosphere, in a beautiful location. Always made to feel welcome and staff are so kind and friendly. The food, WOW! The menu has changed slightly since our last visits, to a tapas idea with all freshly made and locally sourced ingredients. Presentation is perfect and all the dishes tasted amazing. We had the scallops, steak, baby potato salad, breaded halloumi and fries. With good advice from Anna, we shared the cheeseboard after. You can also expect to find Mac in the bar area, a wee celebrity in the Ferry Inn! We look forward to our next visit be sure to book as they get booked up quickly! My only complaint is that there’s not really a quick route from where we live to Uig, to visit more often. Thank you again for a wonderful evening!"

"I wanted to love this place and in many respects it is lovely. The decor is vintage, seating and views are wonderful, the old books fascinating. However, I chose this place because of its vegan offerings and on the morning I went it had very limited availability. No homemade smoky beans, no homemade peanut butter, no turmeric latte. For breakfast, that left limited options for a vegan. I did have wonderful homemade sour dough, but for the price of £3.95, I expected more than one slice. I did however have a fabulous coconut and chocolate vegan cake and beautiful coffee. Server was not very knowledgeable about the place either. I would try it again as this was probably an off day. Photos show the potential of this cafe I think."

"Food was nice but nothing special and certainly not worth the price tag. This was our first meal out from our camping trip and we were left feeling very disappointed and out of pocket. Six of us ate, 4 adults and 2 kids, we shared starters and puddings and it still cost us over £200! Service was terrible and the atmosphere was non existent! Food portions were mediocre and certainly not worthy of the cost! Local taxi driver was great but said he hasn’t been in there in years as it’s no longer local and just aimed at the tourist market. Such a shame for the locals. If you want proper Scotland this isn’t it!"
