What User likes about Nevis Bakery Shop And Takeaway:
super cake and roll. beautiful kartoffel and leeksuppe. all served friendly staff and sold to big lob. it is busy, but this is wisely a good sign of quality and worth. we would come again next time. View all feedback.

What Bobkins82 doesn't like about Nevis Bakery Shop And Takeaway:
Maybe I am not a fan of traditional pies, but give me a fish n chips Pukka pie instead any day. Also got their soup of the day and again maybe I'm not a fan of traditional soups but even a cup a soup sachet tasted better. Fairly nice service though.. View all feedback.

"FC and I were staying at the Smiddy House of which the restaurant is a part. We had dinner here on one night of our two night stay. A reasonable selection of dishes on the menu, we both had a starter and a main. FC..."

"Will not be back. I remember visiting this restaurant when it first opened, it was busy, and food good. They won a Michelin Star and again visit was great, food and service excellent. Totally disappointing visit tonight. Overpriced and whoever employed the person pretending to...be a chef should be sacked!!. Along with the imposter pretending to be a chef!! Veg Haggis starter, not seasoned at all, bland is actually giving it credit. My blade of beef, not seasoned, mashed potatoes should have contained Mull Cheddar cheese, they didn't, and were lukewarm at best!, straw thin carrots, no flavour, scraps of bits of gravy drizzled around plate, to pretend it was something special. It wasn't. No atmosphere, few customers, Overpriced and overrated by themselves, living off a real well deserved award by a Chef who could cook. Not recommended and will not be back. £60 wasted. I remember dining in when it was full with the Michelin Star Chef, great food, great atmosphere, there was an atmosphere about the place, I revisited on the Shackleton Display, brilliant, and food excellent.night!!. I can only assume it has been taken over, by people who do not value their customers, and are living off a Star they will never achieve. I had the privilege to dine in this establishment when their Chef attained their First Michelin Star. I booked you a week in advance because I thought it would be the same. How wrong was I !! Food was under seasoned, cold, overpriced, no atmosphere There always used to be, and very busy), but not on this occasion. I would have got better food and Service for half the price in any of the Town"

"Lovely wee station museum. Very informative about the history of the station and the West Highland Line, and also a great shop. I really felt the volunteers running the museum are passionate about what they do. Even if yo are not a railway fan, it is worth a visit!"
