"Wow! A taste sensation! Now, I go to a lot of cafés....you could almost say it 's a hobby ....but the deliciousness of everything at this wee café is beyond belief!! If I could give an extra 5 stars for food quality, then this place would get them! The coffee is excellent 'made with love ' according to our fabulous server. It shows! The food is exquisite. Quite simply a taste sensation. We had: mushroom soup with truffle oil the best I 've ever had. Dirty Posh baguel black pudding, goat 's cheese, more, served with kettlechips very nice coleslaw utterly delicious. And the cakes!!!! Frangipan blacurrant bakewell and spiced pear apple loaf. OMG!! The café itself is quite lovely. Cosy and spacious, a real fire for wintertime and a great wee courtyard grden for summer. Comfy sofas, and nice wooden tables. It 's got everything! A real gem in our beloved Scottish Highlands ."

"We were visiting Inverness for the day and I was delighted to find Nourish when looking up vegan food places. Our lunch was delicious, the staff were lovely and the pumpkin pie we took away was the perfect treat for later in the day. Would love to come back next time we're visiting the area!"

"Ate here on a Thursday evening. Nicely busy, great atmosphere. Small plates all exquisitely executed. Lovely flavours. The wine shop is a great addition as are the choice of wine flights. A great find for a lovely well priced evening out"

"A thoroughly enjoyable, if slightly odd evening. The pies were great, nicely cooked and tasty, the chips were a little plain but crisp, the mushy peas just mushy peas and the gravy nice and tasty but probably bisto. It may sound that it didn't think much of the food but I really enjoyed it all. The price tag, at £8.95 for pie and chips is great. To cap it off the host, and his mum were a true comedy double act, slightly fringe comedy, but funny. Give the place a go!"

"Fantastic atmosphere and super friendly staff. Attended a drawing workshop here last night and really enjoyed the relaxed and cosy surroundings. The cake and green tea were spot on!! Can't wait to come back."

"Would give a review, except we can hear the toilet flushing in room above(in room in The Stables), as well as footsteps above us all night. Family possibly had a child or dog, and we were permanently awake from Raised the issue with staff, but nothing could be done. Despite this, I would return. Staff were good, really friendly and accommodating, location is breathtaking, whisky bar is reasonably priced, and excellent selection…everything about this place is quality, but we will only stay in main hotel, not the stables. They need better sound insulation in the ceiling I don’t want to hear people flushing if I’m in a a night room. You wouldn’t get that in a premier inn. The bed was super hard too, which was a shame. Overall, I would still highly recommend, but the Stables rooms need a few tweaks The food was good, not great, but we were told the main restaurant was closed due to COVID issues, only to notice when we got there that it was open?! Despite all these issues, I’m still impressed by the overall feel, and would still go back."

"Went to Househill for a nice family lunch. Ordered a soup for our daughter which came straight away and then a burger and a salad for myself and my partner. We waited close to AN HOUR and no food arrived. I asked how much longer and was told they didn't know and would check. 10 minutes later still no sign of our food, bearing in mind a table of six came in just before us and had been served their food and left! We decided to just pay for the soup and leave. I was extremely disappointed with this service and by the end my daughter was very agitated and crying after being sat in a high chair for so long. I will NOT be returning!"

"Of us were staying at the Ferry Inn for nights, to attend Scottish National Sheepdog Trials. Prior to arriving we had decided to eat at a different restaurant each night. After our first meal in the refurbished Upper Deck/Ferry Inn restaurant, where ALL...the staff, but especially Linda and Donna are so helpful and pleasant, we changed our minds as what we’d ordered here was so good. Over the nights we tried the Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken Caesar Burger, Fish Pie, Haddock and Posh Fries, Macaroni cheese, King Prawn Crab Linguine and they were all excellent….but… we all had the Sirloin or Fillet steaks and they were AMAZING. One of our party said the best steak he’d ever had was at One Devonshire Gardens…..and the Fillet Steak here was better and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend"
