We used Scotmid for shopping and were pleasantly surprised to find the lovely looking hot pies etc and nice looking cakes. Only trouble was...the cakes were next to the hot food and the icing on the donuts had slid off!! There was a hot dog machine and a drinks one! Seemed to have so much more than the usual supermarket! Cash machine outside the door too! read more.

What User doesn't like about Scotmid:
Very bad service, had to wait in a queue for at least 10 minutes as there was only one person serving and all other staff members seemed to be too busy chatting or bossing each other around. Seems to be very poorly managed as there have been a lot of very hard working and friendly people in the recent months that have now left which is a shame. read more.

Great as a quick stop and recharge point. Opens early and closes late everyday and it has a bakery with good choice of pastries, pies, cakes and a sandwich fill...
