I have visited twice so far and was amazed at the range of vegan options! The Biscoff Brownie was quite delicious! That really makes up for getting soaked while Munro bagging. What DML doesn't like about The Storehouse:
There 's been a huge change in the atmosphere on Cairngorm Mountain since the current management (Natural Retreats) took over. Such a shame as its located in a beautiful position and should be teeming with customers. As we entered a couple leaving told us not to bother we soon saw why. Sadly disinterested staff (watching a video on their phone behind the till) and rather pricey offerings all in all not very inviting.... View all feedback.
Lovely café with lovely staff. The food and coffee is excellent, but a little pricey. They have some really nice cakes and pastries also.
This cafe is at the foot of the funicular railway (which is currently out of commission). After an early morning walk on Cairngorm we were in the mood for bacon...
