dinner. Eating was good, but surprisingly we found that the tablecloths were dirty. Table cloths are usually changed after the meal.

a little disappointed by the offer at this place dry samosas with pretty bland curries. if you look at the price, it is not worth returning

"Bury Me Standing is a great little hole-in-the-wall cafe in a carpark on Bathurst St in Hobart. They offer great substitutes for lactose-free etc., like almond and coconut milk in the coffees. The coffees prices are on the lower end of the scale for Hobart cafes. I was always seeing these great looking brioche filled buns on their Facebook page, and I finally went and got one! I think they had a couple of varieties, but only one was left when I got there early in the afternoon. The coconut cream makes you feel less guilty! Fantastic bun. A friend got this massive brownie, well worth the $4.5 she paid, and said it was really nice and chewy. Many of the products on display were gluten-free/vegan. The staff were a little ditzy and made the transaction a bit confusing, but they were very friendly and the barista was super quick with our coffees."

"Loved it!! We had brunch here today and it was fabulous. The service was great and the food arrived at our table very hot and quite quickly scallop pie, porridge with figs and an egg tart. We had previously read great reviews about Jackman McRoss and the cafe certainly lived up to these reviews. Definitely worth a visit."

"Had an excellent lunch today. Corn fritters while they could have been a little bit more flavoursome, the salad and the accompaniments made the whole tasting experience most enjoyable. Man had Reuben Benedict. Again excellent. Coffees beaut. Great cafe. Highly recommend"

"It is a must place to have food if you love Indian food. I went there few days back and it was an amazing experience. I ordered the Momo platter which is a combination of different types of momos and even though it is a starter I think i can have it as main as well it was so delicious and authentic. Tastes amazing, be it the deep fried ones which are crispy or the soft steamed ones, truly amazing. In the main I tried the Non-veg thali, and my God it was so damn good. Halfway through I was full because they serve generously but the taste was so amazing that I couldn't stop. Special mention about the Goat curry. It was the best goat curry I have ever had which includes all the goat curies I have tried back in India. Finally try out the desert called "Jerry" (which in India we call as "Jalebi") which is a special desert and I think they are the only one who serves it in Hobart. It is one of my favorite and I wasn't expecting it to be so good in here but turned out it was completely authentic and just fascinates your taste buds the same way as it would if you have it back in India. They have set the standard for Indian food in Hobart so high and I can't imagine any other Indian restaurant in Hobart catching up with them soon. Although I would love to be wronged."
