"Great food with lots of seafood options. We sat on the outdoor patio that has a view of the street, great place on a nice day but it can get dusty. It was a good lunch stop before the long drive back to Halifax"

"This super sweet café had 4 different vegan snacks available, including chocolate banana bread that was delicious. For lunch, only the hummus and veg sandwich was vegan, but when I was there, they had a vegan soup, but not sure if the soup is vegan every day. Overall would definitely be back for a snack and coffee. The coffee was good."

"I just took out a seafood platter and it was delicious. the batter was like tempura, light and crispy. the shrimp and scallops were succulent. kudos"

"A friend and I were exploring Cape Breton and booked a night here. The cabins are clean, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The cabins have a lovely deck with comfy chairs and you can't beat the views. The bathrooms are located in a separate building and are immaculate. Each cabin has their own designated bathroom which means no sharing and waiting for a shower...unless you are waiting for someone in your party! The location is close to so many things to do which gives you many options. Ton and his son were great hosts and full of information and suggestions on the area. Ton takes great pride in his property and business and his passion for what he does shines through. We went for breakfast on site in the cafe and I had my first Pannekoeken. Delicious! I went with the farmers (ham, onions, peppers and mushrooms). Very filling and a must try. Thanks for the great stay. I wish we had booked a few extra nights...next trip!"

"Good ice cream. Proportions are big. They have quite a few selections of Nestle Ice cream. No chocolate on the day we visited so we had to do with the Triple Brownie Chocolate. A good place for some ice cream."

"Since it was the only place open at 9 30 pm , we decided to go there. It was really good though ! I got a chicken wrap and my friends got chicken fingers. Everything was great, would go back for sure."

"Waited to eat here all summer and let me tell you it wasn't disappointed. Great surroundings, excellent food and amazing views of the water. I would recommend to anyone who thinks to eat here. We're coming back!"
