"Stopped here as it was nearby our lodging and very happy we did. The lobster with the browned butter and baked potato still makes my mouth water! It even came with a purple chive flower on the lobster's head. So cute I had to take a picture of it before it was devoured! Highly recommend this place."

"This super sweet caffe had 4 different vegan snacks available, including chocolate bananenbrot, which was delicious. for lunch was just the hummus and veg sandwich vegan, but when I was there, they had a vegan suppe, but not sure if the suppe vegan is every day. overall would be definitiw again for a snack and coffee. the coffee was also good."

"This was an interesting and delightful find as we made our way around the Cabot Trail.Danena has long since passed, God rest her soul, but her daughter carries on the tradition in this quirky little bistro, bakery, zip line spot!! Yes, you got it ... bistro, bakery and zip lining.The restaurant looks a little worn around the edges ... needs a cleaning, a coat of paint and a bit of freshening up but that doesn't detract from the good food, friendly and down-to-earth wait staff and the great baked goods. The "mac and cheese" made with a parmesan cheese sauce is very good ... add a little salt, give it a stir and ENJOY. The menu is fairly full and provides something for everyone.The baked goods are fresh and "just like grandma made them".If you have the time and inclination you can cap off your meal with a bit of excitement ... a zip line ride from restaurant level down three lines to the lake. Having done the zip lines in Costa Rica we gave it a miss but it is an option.We recommend this restaurant ... appearances aside ... the food is very good."

"Had a lovely breakfast at this warm cafe. The owner kindly opened an hour early for us and was cheery and welcoming. I discovered the delicious Pannekoek of Holland, which was amazing! In addition to great food and conversation, I met two of the sweetest cats you'll find. A must see!"

"Good ice cream. Proportions are big. They have quite a few selections of Nestle Ice cream. No chocolate on the day we visited so we had to do with the Triple Brownie Chocolate. A good place for some ice cream."

"Holy cow this place is good! The lobster rolls are phenomenal, SO much lobster in them and so fresh. Their fries were great too-not greasy at all and super crispy. You definitely want to check this out!"
