"The location can't be beat and the chowder is quite good. I can't comment to the rest of the menu as I only had the chowder. The wait seemed inordinately long to place your order but the woman was super nice and you receive your order rather quickly. Please turn on your fan for the patrons patiently waiting to order. We tried but found no receptacle. It was a hot day and luckily the line was long the door had to remain open."

"Adorably decorated little cafe near Cape Breton Highlands National Park, w plant milk options (oat and almond) for their drinks and a vegan vegetable sandwich. They also sell certified vegan ciders, locally brewed on Cape Breton Island. Definitely come here if you love local foods: most of their food products and produce are from Cape Breton. Lovely outdoor seating area. Friendly staff. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-02"

"Had a lovely breakfast at this warm cafe. The owner kindly opened an hour early for us and was cheery and welcoming. I discovered the delicious Pannekoek of Holland, which was amazing! In addition to great food and conversation, I met two of the sweetest cats you'll find. A must see!"
