"It’s not as if there are many restaurant choices in a small arctic town, but this one was a winner. The atmosphere was cozy, casual and unique. The owner was friendly and seemed happy to be there. "This place was great. My parents separated a chicken burger and Greek salad. My girlfriend also had a crispy chicken burger. All enjoyed their meals. Sick beats in the restaurant. I had a Donair. I am from the east coast, so I was obviously skeptical about a Donair from so far away from Halifax. I wasn't disappointed. The sauce was similar, but not as sweet as the East Coast version (I liked it). He had exactly the right amount of sauce on it, not too wet, but also not dry. Nothing worse than a dry donair. The beef was perfectly cooked and not dry. Total 9/10 (honorary east coast Donair ranking in my books). I'd come back for the next time for this exact meal I'll get through!"
