"Well, what a wonderful surprise. Visiting Jedburgh. Menu on line looked vast...rather dated traditional pub but had beer, ordered food and it was great! Only saw 2 staff, barman cum waiter and ,I guess, lady chef running between kitchen upstairs and tables....boy did they work hard and cheerfully! We had veg tagine and Balinese beef...wonderful and reasonable prices, and a huge difference to mundane pub food with chips and peas. Highly recommend!"

"My daughter and I had lunch here. Cannot fault the place, the food and the staff. The young girl was welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu and generally pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious fresh, hot and well presented. The cake and hot chocolate were also delicious. The cafe is spacious, well set out, clean and comfortable. All the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced and a great selection of both meals and cake. Cannot fault the place and will 100% be back, thank you"
