"Interesting and quirky little restaurant that has a very unique concept for ordering and delivering food to your table. Average tasting food for an above average price. Looks like a lot of people like this place based on these reviews but I didn’t get it. Have had better Thai food for less. To each his own."

"Found Hula Cookie when we departed on a snorkeling tour and basically declared this as a must when we returned. So glad we did too! The staff, service and shop were excellent. The menu is an ice cream and cookie lovers dream. My husband and I were easily able to share one ice cream cookie sandwich. We ordered one of the signature creations, and we were not disappointed. Two warm cookies sandwiched between premium ice cream, you just can't go wrong. Now, I am not sure this is anon-dairy friendly establishment, but they do also serve shaved ice and espresso items as well. Overall, just make sure to stop here if your Hawaiian journey brings you through Maalaea."

"We came on a weekday for dinner. It was very disappointing for the price point and it seems like they were understaffed. I ordered their pasta special, a fettuccine with lamb and sundried tomatoes ragu. The pasta was fine but the ragu was unappetizing. The lamb was in big chunks and the ragu was watery. My partner ordered a chef’s special, pan-seared halibut with Spaghetti. It was bland and the presentation felt as if we were in a local fast food restaurant."

"An absolutely brilliant lunch here. the empanadas had a delicate, fluffy crust and tasty filling. we liked the bark and the sweet banana dessert-emanadas. her telleressen with the Dominican pork over cocos rice and drilling was also excellent. spice it all with their homemade hot sauce, and it made for one of the best lunch we had on the island. highly recommended!"

"Good food, great price, huge portions, many vegetarian and vegan options. The contractor was so nice! So real and friendly, it made my day better! (Receipt said the name was Prinsess) ordered some of my favorites, green papaya salad with avocado and tofu vegetables crispy fried egg noodles, it was really good as always! They are really fast, delivery available, take out, or there are some outdoor tables."

"Popular fish tacos finally stopped by after passing by for years. Friends rave about this place. Had fish tacos. Seared Ahi sandwich and calamari plate. Food was very good taco are not traditional style I'm used to in So. Cal. But very good. Little pricey if on a buget but you get plenty enough to eat. Fast friendly eat in or outside."

"The variety of options. available were amazing. While we have tried several different razor and ice cream varieties during our stay, we have always found ourselves back to this place. Her big razor ice is the biggest thing we all experienced. Several milk-free options with their gelato. Although there is often a line (especially during the heat of the day), it moved very quickly. Even so we never felt rushed."
