"Bistro Ristoro is easily one of our favourite restaurants in Ottawa. It's a wonderful local business run by the best people we always have great conversations with Vlado and Lydia when we are there. The restaurant serves delicious, authentic Macedonian food. The last time we went there we had the piquant stuffed champignons, the pillows, the spicy sausage roll ups, and much more everything was AMAZING! One of my favourite dishes there has to be the Halloumi and roasted red pepper appetizer the Halloumi is the perfect consistency and tastes really great! Their pizzas and mains are also fantastic, and I highly recommend the Oliva pizza if you like olives and mushroom : One of our favourite things about this place is the passionate and energetic team that runs it you can tell that the owners and staff truly care about putting delicious food out for their customers! It's unfortunate that we had to move out of Ottawa and can't visit anymore, but this is going to be our go to place every time we travel to visit the city in the future!"

"Bravo to chef Blackie, Sous-chef Filipe and staff at NeXT. My partner and I had the most memorable dining experience I have had in all my years in Ottawa. We enjoyed the 8 course blind sharing menu and every course delighted more than the last! The food was truly exquisite, masterfully prepared and it just kept coming! Every course was explained down to every last detail. Barb, our server was wonderful and made sure we were well looked after! I loved that all staff paid attention to all tables with bringing food and clearing plates, a real team effort. There was no problem for my partner who is gluten-free. Can't believe this was my first time here and will NOT be my last. Thank you Filipe for the "extras"...like we needed more food! We WILL be back."
