We came in around 9pm on a Tuesday, expecting to be turned away but were welcomed in warmly. It was a man and a woman running the show, everything was deliciously hand made. Will be returning to this locally owned restaurant : View all feedback.

Was the worst sushi experience I’ve ever had. 4 of us got all you can eat. It came one at a time with 20 mins in between each dish. We couldn’t wait anymore for our food to come so we left, hungry and very disappointed. It was super expensive and everything tasted the same. View all feedback.

"I am almost afraid to give Next such a good rating.... not because it isn't the best restaurant outside of downtown Ottawa....but because it is!! And I don't want it to get so popular that we won't be able to get a table when we want. We have dined here twice and the food was superb on both occasions!! Service was friendly and the ambiance comfortable and most pleasant.On this second visit we had a variety of non meat dishes to share and each one was better than the Next.Our favorite was the Ka-Pow Cauliflower....incredible!! I indulged in "Shank the Lamb" that was a melt in your mouth, fall off the bone delight!! You can't go wrong with anything you order....simply delicious and artfully presented!! It is not cheap but well worth the drive to the west end. Our new favorite place to dine. Can't wait to go back for the 8 course blind tasting menu!!"
