I think that Gates gets a bad rap in the pantheon of Kansas City BBQ joints because there are always new ones popping up and it has so much competition.
I've been to many of the BBQ joints around Kansas City but I had never been to Gates.
Gates BBQ was recommended to me by a couple of friendsI was hopeful for another awesome KCMO barbecue experience, but I was sorely disappointed.
