First visit to this Hotel. Celebrated my 60th Birthday during our stay. We stayed in the Brodcrag Suite with lovely views and the Hot Tub was superb. The Bathroom was wonderful too. Breakfast was awesome, cooked to order. Lovely. Had a superb meal on my Birthday. Nice touch when the waitress brought out some Fresh Strawberries Local Fudge with Happy Birthday written in Chocolate Sauce on the plate. Great location for... read more.

Can't fault the Applegarth, stayed for 3 nights with the wife for her birthday and really pleased with our choice. Excellent position for getting around winderm...

"Our experience here was fantastic. The restaurant dining space is small but perfectly prepared with cosy tables overlooking the road and a serving counter for placing takeaway orders. We dined on a busy Friday night and witnessed lots of happy people coming to collect their food. The popadom sauces were fresh and the starters arrived promptly. Both our starters had great flavour and were hot. Standout service is hard to find, however this lovely restaurant had the right approach to customer service with a regular check-back after each course. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty, well prepared meal."
