Jin Joo has gone through quite a few changes with their owners, most due to retirement.
As a foodie I enjoy tasting homemade meals and this place is a great place for Korean foodLocal music playing in the background and friendly owners.

"The Mango Sticky Rice is what dreams are made of! Yes I said it I’ve been dreaming of it since we last visited 15 years ago. And we had it tonight and it did not disappoint, dare I say it was even better than I remembered!! The rest of the meal was also delicious. The service was great even while very busy. Let’s just hope it doesn’t take me another 15 years to be able to go back… until then I’ll be dreaming …."

"My family was visiting Maui for the week and wanted to have a special dinner for all of us to enjoy. Everyone had something different, all the dishes were very good and mindfully seasoned. We had Key lime pie for dessert that was really good as well. Great ambiance, low noise level and the patio was amazing because we got to watch the sunset as we were enjoying our meal. Definitely recommend to family and friends"

"Excellent first visit. We were entertaining friends from the mainland for their first time to Hawaii, celebrating an anniversary and birthday. All the staff were welcoming and appreciative of our support in South Maui, after the fires in Lahaina and upcountry, including hostess, busser Dexter, server Christian. Drinks were special. We loved everything: starters (Crispy Shrimp Scallop Croquettes; Lion's Mane Mushroom Liangban Salad), Salt Pepper Shrimp, generous portion of Korean Fried Chicken, kochujang glaze with peanuts, excellent Cantonese Lobster Noodles that my Facebook group Cantonese Food Recipes would love, fresh fish- Kampachi steamed with ginger and truffle. We were stuffed (and took some food home), but they brought us delicious Raspberry and Calamansi sorbet to finish. All in all, a delightful experience. Mahalo to the entire staff for excellent food and warm aloha. We will return."

"I had some juice for breakfast. It was about $10.94 withput a tip. It was tasty and even though I feel like I would have enjoyed many of the juice blends I had the Bliss one made with pineapple, pearl, ginger and mint. The seating outside is nice and covered."

"Best papaya salad in town! Everything is amazing, fresh food, tasty, very well prepared! Coco nut shrimp, onion soup, but the papaya salad is the house chef! Very friendly and fast service! Family ambiance but great for all ocasions! My favorite place in Kihei !"
