What Stephen M doesn't like about Bombay Bhel:
Ordered Chicken Korma with rice and garlic naan. What I got was Korma soup, with rice and greasey naan. The chicken used was chewy. They asked me if I wanted mild, medium, or hot but, in my experience, Korma is not hot. My first experience with Bombay Bhel is and was the last. And try smiling to your customers. They're paying for it. View all feedback.
This is the best food I have had in a long time. Staff is friendly, price is affordable and the setting is very nice. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience
Ordered with skip the dishes. Driver had to wait for twenty minutes for the order. Food arrived. Bhel Poori was soggy. Biryani was the worst I ve ever had. Rice was completely soaked and also tasted soggy. Didn’t know the owner was different from the one in Mississauga where we usually go and the food is great. Mississauga should take away their name from this store as it is ruining their name.
Their prices are terrible. Compare to the Bombat Behl in Mississauga (different owner) the are taking advantage of the community that perhaps does not know better. We had a function there and they were not able to keep up and menu items promised were not delivered. She will say no problem and for sure for sure to everything you ask for but does what she wants after she has your money,
My friend and I met for lunch the other day. After having looked at the website, we decided to go to the Bombay Bhel which advertised a 12.99 weekday lunch buffet. When we arrived we were told that they had raised the price to 14.99. I had showed the server the website price on my phone and he said they just changed the price to 14.99 a week ago but would not honour the 12.99 advertised even in good will. I decided not to push the issue. Price aside the food was nothing special. There were a variety of dishes but not as many options as other Indian buffets I had been to. The issue was everything was lukewarm in temperature with a skin layer on top. In terms of flavour the dishes were not bad they just were not great. Given there are many other Indian restaurants in town I will not be frequenting this establishment again.
Our waiter was Noel Mathew, he was very kind and very pleasant. While we were eating the owner stopped by our table and asked if everything was ok, which was nice. Our meal was very good and a good portion. Would definitely go back again.
