"Off the beaten path just a bit but well worth the visit. The juice bar is in the back of a small grocery store and not a place you would visit unless you are staying close by. We went there specifically for an acai bowl and they did not disappoint! There was no line when we went and sat outside in our car to eat...they have a couple of picnic tables in the store but we wanted to be outside. We went because I knew my wife would enjoy...I liked it just as much as she did! It is worth the drive just for the experience and and amazing bowl of sorbet with fresh fruit, nuts, and other ingredients. We each got a medium bowl and were satisfied for lunch."

"My man and I were 7 days in kauai and ate there three times! everything was super fresh and delicious. the food presentation was beautiful and the taste was consistent. also people who work there are so personal and warm. I recommend everything and the tempoura is phenomenal! you should try this place. it will not disappoint!"

"So a great way to start your day! The kindness and energy of the owners are incredible. Coffee, smoothie and breakfast options are great. We have two of the specials, The Sleeping Giant Drink and the Bruh vacado along with the Lox on a croissant and a Mac Nut Latte. Everything was delicious. That must be a certain end!!"

"Came here for the time in one week. For entrees we ordered the grilled fish sandwich and the Prime Rib special, which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We ordered Chips and Guacamole and the Caesar Salad to start, which were quite good. However, before we finished these appetizers they brought out our entrees—not good. The fish sandwich was good and the prime rib which was a nice large cut and quite tender. However, the asparagus that came with the prime rib was inedible. The spears still had the woody part, which was inedible, and the remainder was completely overcooked. The waitress replaced the asparagus with broccoli, which was fine. We brought a nice bottle of wine from the Wine Shop in Koloa, so there should have been no corkage fee. However, there was a corkage fee on the bill, which was removed once we reminded our server. Overall the service felt rushed and was not up to the Merriman’s standards that we have been used to"

"Visit Kauai on our honeymoon of NYC. We wanted to turn our dinners off the groundless Ahi-Tuna and Mahi-Mahi that we ate and could not be happy that we did. Everything from waiting staff to dinner was fabulous/delicious. Are expeditions low coming from an Italian family and the amount of Italian restaurants that we are usually surrounded in a large city, but the food surpassed a majority of Italian spots that we are in NYC. If you are looking for something other than the typical island of Essen you have to stop here. Great prices and good portions? A must if you adapt it to its beautiful island during your stay??"
