Nicely situated on the main square and very popular. We had two pork schnitzels one with pepper sauce and one with mushroom. It isn't gourmet food but it's efficient and filling. We also had apple strudels and found the pastry a little soggy. The beer keeps coming in 0.2 litre glasses until you say stop. View all feedback.

We held here late on a Saturday for some traditional puddings and got apfelstrudel and another dish that I called (a huge plate of fried pancake-like slices) both were delicious. they are very generous portions, as often in Germany, and served with...loved ceramic tankers of the local colsch. we also came back for the Sunday carnival event and had a great time in the cellar, who danced with very friendly locals to the carnival songs and tried some of the drinks we had not heard, like woodruffs and hugo (a delicious prosecco cocktail from minze and dullberry). it is a beautiful building and a great place to spend some fun time.
Eating was very good, like the atmosphere. it is much larger than from outside. very clean and good service in English
This place is huge according to all standards, although it does not see how much from outside. also here the service was rather under-par (as we have experienced almost everywhere in carn). the waiter almost never came to us and we felt that we were disturbing his...day Food-wise, we had the borscht that was good, though a tad over-spicy. but this is just a personal taste. we also had the smoked ham dish. as it was cold outside, was the perfect hearty dish to have on this day. a lot of ham and potatoes. the prices were pretty good. eur for net and drinks.
Bad service, not welcome at all. in the high season, especially now in the pandemic, they should treat all customers, not only German, very carefully. maybe the foid ok, but I do not recommend the service!
It is a traditional cocaine brewery, so it is great that they offer modern vegan food besides traditional German meal times. it is a bit sad that the only vegan labeled item is unusual, it would be nice to have one or two traditional foods as a vegan version on the menu. the atmosphere is very beautiful.
